Who am I?

Zeyu Li. An engineer who crafts things.

Most recently at Robinhood and Snap, building production-scale Agentic AI systems and deep learning-based recommendation systems. Before that, internships at Intuit, Adobe Research, and Meta — all great experiences showing how the things in software engineering, research, and data science work. A few years in academia at UCLA rounded it out, where the best Chinese food restaurants on the west coast came with a PhD in Computer Science.

What do I do?

Reading fun stuff and thinking about things that interest me (sometimes useless). Writing about them here so they stick — and so you can find them too.

Recently, Agentic Engineering has taken over most of the reading and thinking. Sometimes the writing follows.

There's a strong belief here in super-individualism, and in preparing for a new world where things are redefined foundationally by AI.

Let's prepare for it together.
